Tim Cook in China visits stores, developers, musicians, universities, photographer

Apple CEO Tim Cook is currently in China visiting retail stores, developers, musicians, universities, and a renowned fashion photographer …

Yesterday, we learned that Apple is supporting the country's national parks initiative, and Cook commented on it on his Weibo account.

National parks deepen our connection with nature and remind us how precious our planet is. We are pleased to partner with CGCF to support China's national parks and nurture the next generation of environmental leaders.

He met with fashion photographer Chen Man, who took some photos of Cook with her iPhone 16 Pro Max.

It was great to be back in Beijing with the talented Chen Man. Walking around the neighborhood where she grew up and seeing how the city inspires her creativity was truly special. I love how she captures the beauty of Beijing on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

And musician Lexi Liu.

Spending time with Lexi Liu was wonderful. Thanks for sharing how iPhone and Mac play a role in your musical journey and creative process. Good luck on the upcoming tour!

Cook visited two universities to see how students are using Apple devices.

We are deeply committed to empowering communities and creating opportunities, so it was great to meet with students from China Agricultural University and Zhejiang University to learn more about how they are using iPhones and iPads to help farmers implement more efficient and sustainable practices. Thanks to CFRD and everyone at Science and Technology Backyards – we are proud to support your work!

Also on his agenda was a meeting with the developers of Gala Sports.

The NBA Rivals players were in for a tough fight! With stunning graphics and incredibly realistic visuals, Gala Sports showed me how they harness the power of the iPhone 16 series and its A18 series chips for a gameplay experience that feels like you're on the court.

Apple recently partnered with China Mobile to bring more Apple Music offerings.
