The report shows that Apple hides Vision Products Products products

Analyst Apple Ming-Chi Kuo shared a detailed road map of Vision and Smart Glasses company. At least seven projects in development, including three Vision devices and four Smart Glasses products. Kuo says that five of these products “confirmed” the development deadlines, while two have yet to be confirmed. Here's what to expect:

2025

  • Apple Vision Pro (M5) : the updated vision of the first generation Pro. Showing the M5 chip without other changes, the new device will not be considered a “second generation” model. Mass production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, and Apple expects to supply 150,000-200,000 units this year. This will probably remain a niche product. The second -generation model is simply designed to maintain the presence of the market and support the development of the ecosystem, as well as to reduce the inventory of excess components in the supply chain.
  • Apple Smart Glasses : Similarly, Meta Ray-Bans, the first Apple Smart Glasses product offers several frames and temple material for a more individual type. He will have a voice control and gesture recognition, but there will be no display. Key functions include sound reproduction, photography and videoography, as well as environmental awareness of ecology. Some users will use smart glasses to replace their Airpods or iPhone camera in certain situations. Mass production is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027, and Apple expects to supply from three to five million units per year of launch. Most likely, this will be the first vision or glasses to achieve a significant amount of sales.
  • Apple Vision Air : showing a completely new design that is “much lighter”, with more than 40% weight loss compared to Vision Pro. This weight loss will be achieved by replacing glass with plastic, using a magnesium alloy and reducing the number of sensors on the device. It will contain the last flagship of Apple & Zwnj; iPhone & zwnj; The time processor, not the M-series chip, will be at a “significantly lower price” than Vision Pro. Mass production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

2028

  • Apple Vision Pro (second generation) : The true set of second -generation Apple Vision Pro Pro makes a debut in a completely new design with significantly reduced weight. It will have a powerful Mac-class processor and a lower price. It is assumed that mass production will begin in the second half of 2028: while the product will have vocal management and gesture recognition, such as the first smart glasses of the company, this more advanced version will add color liquid crystal on silicon (LCO) display with optics of wave and wave optics. AI, obviously, will be crucial for the success of the device. Mass production is scheduled for the second half of 2028. It is expected that several other brands will release similar products before Apple sets the early presence on the market, but due to the nature of this category of devices as early technologies, these products will probably remain niche offers during the first few years of existence.

2029 and later

  • : Another version of Apple XR, presented in 2028, with a later duration of production. Currently, little is known about this device. It is equipped with BirdBath optics technology with electrochrome darkening. Initially, the device was supposed to enter the mass production in the second quarter of 2026, but its development was suspended in the fourth quarter of 2024, because Apple questioned its competitive advantage over other existing products. The Apple version had a weight of 120-130 grams compared to competitors' weights within 100 grams. Currently, Apple will consider the product for “moving and clarifying the specifications”, and the project is possible. The main task facing the company remains functions and software with AI with AI. See the full report of Kuo for additional information.
