The NCAA March Madness Live app adds Vision Pro compatibility, new CarPlay features and more.

Ahead of NCAA March Madness kicking off later this week, the March Madness Live app has received an update with several new features. The app is now compatible with Apple Vision Pro, offers enhanced features for CarPlay users and more.

The March Madness Live app running on Apple Vision Pro is just an iPad version, not a fully optimized version for VisionOS. However, it is notable that the app developers have not refused to allow Vision Pro users to run the iPad version of the app, unlike some other developers. The iPad version of the app can also be run on Mac computers with Apple Silicon.

The NCAA March Madness Live app also has “advanced features”; for CarPlay users this year:

For fans who are always on the go, NCAA March Madness Live will keep them in the loop with enhanced game radio in live for Apple. CarPlay and Android Auto. Live radio coverage for all 67 games courtesy of Westwood One.

As with last year, the app also supports live action on the iPhone lock screen and Dynamic Island. New this year is the “real time scoreboard”; a feature that will “offer fans the ability to follow the scores across multiple games.

In the March Madness Live app, users can view limited previews of games before they are required to sign in using their TV provider credentials. Once logged in with their credentials, users can watch all games airing on CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV.

CBS titles will also be available through Paramount+. TNT, TruTV and TBS games will also be available through MAX.
