Apple released new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models on May 15, but there's still a shortage of cases for the device. For new owners who want to protect their expensive investment from scuffs or accidental falls, we have selected several options.
We'd include popular brand Zugu on this short list, but the company says that's not the case. is still working on new cases for the iPad Pro M4 and plans to release them in June or July.

Handcrafted from cowhide leather, the Torro Case has one of the most elegant finishes of any case listed here. The internal frame is designed to optimally absorb shock and protect against drops and impacts, while flexible sides make it easy to insert and remove iPad. It offers three adjustable angles, with the highest angle for watching videos and the lowest for a stable surface for typing or using the Apple Pencil. The Statement Series Studio case features a slim design and a soft, durable fabric finish. The adjustable stand offers multiple viewing angles for typing, streaming, drawing, or video calling. Its front part detaches to save space while working or commuting. There's also decent corner protection to protect the screen in case of a drop, as well as a dedicated place to store the Apple Pencil. It's an expensive option, however, with the 11-inch model costing $89.95 and the 13-inch version costing $99.95. Color options are limited to blue and grey.

Essentially a cheap version of Apple's Smart Folio, this could serve as an in-between option until better ones come out quality cases. The front folding cover supports sleep/wake mode and can be folded into two stand positions: one for viewing and one for writing. Unlike Apple's case, the ESR alternative includes a magnetic flap that protects and charges your Apple Pencil while you're on the go. It's made entirely of TPU (flexible rubber-like plastic) and features strong magnets that hold the iPad Pro securely in place. While it may not have the premium feel of higher-end cases, it is lightweight, durable, and allows easy access to the tablet's ports and buttons. Available in both 11″ ($19) and 13″ ($24) versions.

The Apple Smart Folio has been a staple accessory for quite some time and is known for its sleek design rather than its protective capabilities. It's not cheap, but thanks to some extra magnets, the latest version boasts a wider range of viewing angles.
