T-Mobile has long provided customers with additional services beyond what Verizon, AT&T and other carriers offer . . Now Uncarrier says it's taking the idea of loyalty programs to the next level with what it calls “purple status.” New perks include $5 movie tickets, 15% off Hilton hotels, 25% off live events, access to VIP lounges and more.
T -Mobile announced Magenta Status today in a press release and YouTube video. The new discounts and perks complement existing loyalty rewards such as T-Mobile Tuesdays, free access to Netflix, Apple TV+, Hulu, and more.
The Uncarrier reports that postpaid customers (including small businesses ) and “Most T-Mobile prepaid customers”; will automatically receive new rewards. The company says Magenta Status “can generate more than $1,500 per year in added value.”…”
Here are the benefits the new program provides:
- Premium Hotel Offers & Experience: T-Mobile customers now have access to a special discount at Hilton. With Magenta status, customers can receive a 15% discount on 22 of Hilton's leading hotel brands worldwide, from Hampton to Curio Collection by Hilton, Waldorf Astoria and more. To top it all off, T-Mobile customers are automatically upgraded to Hilton Honors Silver when they sign up… until March 31, 2025… at more than 7,500 properties. Silver perks include things like free Wi-Fi, fifth night free on an award stay, all-inclusive spa discount and more.
- Fuel or recharge with us : Returning your rental car to the airport is now easy – just drop it off and go – and avoid the hassle and last-minute stoppages! T-Mobile customers don't have to worry about filling up their gas tank at Dollar or charging their electric vehicle (EV) at Hertz before returning it. Simply drive past the gas station or charging station, arrive at the airport and hand over your keys. This offer is so good that you won't find it anywhere else. It's available at nearly ALL airports in America.
- $5 Movie Tickets: T-Mobile customers now get a $5 movie ticket for everyone registered on their bill for one of the best new major films…EVERYONE. LONELY. MONTH. Guaranteed… all year round. That's only $20 for a family of four, saving customers more than 50% on the average movie ticket. This month, customers will be able to use their tickets to the highly anticipated release of Bob Marley: One Love on February 14.
- More entertainment: The Un-carrier turns the dial up to 11 on live entertainment, with customers now enjoying 25% off tickets year-round to some of the hottest shows at Live Nation amphitheaters and select clubs and venues. This means incredible deals on over 8,000 shows at over 120 venues across the country. In addition, T-Mobile Concert Perks is expanding, giving customers additional access to specially priced tickets to thousands of concerts nationwide. That's a total of over a million discounted tickets that T-Mobile customers can receive each year.
- More Thanks from T-Mobile Tuesdays: T-Mobile customers will continue to receive the same great exclusive discounts and gifts they know and love on T-Mobile Tuesdays, like saving on gas every week with Shell's Fuel Rewards® program, and more… with a customer you love a free Little Caesars bonus that is now available to everyone, damn it.
