Apple's latest star-studded drama series, Palm Royale, is now streaming on Apple TV+. Starring Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Carol Burnett, Ricky Martin and many more names, the series is set in 1960s Palm Beach as we see Maxine Simmons (Wiig's character) try to break into the exclusive Palm Royale. club.
Set in 1969, Palm Royal features luxurious design and period visuals. No expense was spared on the cast list: Kirsten Wiig was accompanied by Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin and many other famous actors. Special guests include Carol Burnett and Behrs Dern.
Based on the novel “Mr. & Mrs. American Pie is a look at how far people are willing to go to escape their social class, and how much of their morality and dignity they may sacrifice to achieve this.
The first three episodes of the series are currently broadcast; the remainder of the season takes place weekly, every Wednesday. All ten episodes of the season will air by May 8, so you may want to wait until then if you want to binge-watch them all in one go.
