Passe Navigo – the pass used to travel on the metro, bus, train and tram in Paris – has finally arrived in Apple Wallet, which allows users to use their iPhone and Apple Watch instead of a physical card.
Navigo already offered support for topping up memberships directly from the iPhone app, but it was previously not possible to add a card to the Wallet app …
Passe Navigo
Passe Navigo is a contactless smart card used to electronically store tickets and passes for travel within the Ile-de-France region, which covers Paris and surrounding areas.
Maps can be downloaded as separate tickets, books, as well as weekly and monthly passes.
Now available in the Wallet app
You can now pass be loaded into the Apple Wallet app, allowing residents and visitors to use their iPhone and Apple Watch to pass through barriers on subways and trains, as well as enter buses and trams.
The move has been long-awaited. one, with negotiations necessary between Apple and Île-de-France Mobilités.

BFMTV explains how to add a map to your iPhone.
- Tap the + sign in the top right corner
- Click “Transport map and Navigo”; tab
- Select a transport ticket (single ticket, booklet of 10 t+ tickets, airport ticket, Navigo day package)
- Pay using Apple Pay
If you want to add another data plan to your iPhone, you will have to use the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
- Open the app
- Go to “Buy ” and choose to add a ticket or pass to your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Once this is done, you can enable Passe Navigo in the Wallet app.
