Apple and Hermès today released an all-new knitted band for Apple Watch, available in four color options.
Modeled after Hermès' 1930s gloves designed for driving, sailing and golf, the Tricot bracelet takes what's old and makes it new again. The continuous textile knit fits comfortably around the wrist, providing freedom of movement and a sense of movement.
Hermès already sells a range of luxury “tricot” accessories, such as ties. Unlike Tricot's main range of accessories, which are typically made from 100% silk, the Apple Watch Hermès Tricot Single Tour is made from polyamide yarn. Polyamide is waterproof and allows you to use the band while swimming, like all other Apple Watch Hermès bands that are not made of leather.
The Tricot Single Tour band is available in Bleu Jean, Jaune de Naples, and Orange. and Beige Weimar. It is only compatible with 38mm, 40mm and 41mm Apple Watch models.
The Tricot Single Tour replaces the Apple Watch Hermès Bridon single and double tour bands on the company's main Apple Watch band webpage. The Apple Watch Hermès Bridon bands are knitted in the same way as the Tricot, suggesting a new band could replace them when supplies run low.
The Bridon band is still available, but that can only be so far while it's in stock. result. Apple tends to allow discontinued Apple Watch Hermès bands to sell out for a longer period of time rather than delisting them entirely. The Navy/Gris/Ciel Bridon band is also still available directly from Hermès, but now on a separate web page, like many of the Hermès leather Apple Watch bands that Apple stopped selling last September.
In addition to updating the iPhone and Apple Watch band color options earlier today, Apple and Hermès added Bleu Céleste/Écru and Framboise/Écru color options for the Hermès Toile H Single Tour, Bleu Céleste/Bleu Jean and Jaune d'Or/Bleu Jean bands. color options for the Hermès Twill Jump Single Tour, and Blanc and Bleu Céleste color options for the Hermès Kilim Single Tour Band.
The Apple Watch Hermès Tricot Single Tour Band is now available to order for $349.00.
