Meta this week sent an email (via Verge) to META Ray-Ban customers, informing them about the upcoming changes in confidentiality in intellectual glasses, which will increase the amount of data that META collects by default. SRC = “/WP-Content/UPLOADS/24F2D584BB0E3769610401E40E7CA89A.jpg”/>
META says that the vocalities are stored by the default when using META AI and are used to improve META products. META excluded the ability to disable the vocal register storage, and the recordings should be removed manually in the settings. In addition, the setting “Using the camera” for META AI is now turned on by default.
from the e -mail Meta:
- meta ai using the camera is always included in your glasses if you do not turn off “Hey Meta”. The ability to turn off the storage of voice recording is no longer available, but you can delete the notes at any time in the settings.
- You still control. You can turn off the “hello” or delete the interaction of META AI at any time. If the photo or video is used with Metai AI, or if the cloud processing is included and the media servers are sent to META servers, it can be used to improve META services. Of course, downloading images and video on Instagram and other Meta Apps also gives META exactly the same access. If cloud processing is also enabled, or if you ask META AI a video question, META can access and use a video for educational purposes AI. More detailed information is available in the META confidentiality policy.
