macOS Sequoia 15.2 Updates AirPlay with New Feature

The latest macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta improves the way you use AirPlay to share content from your Mac to Apple TV. There's now a new option to share just a specific window or app when using AirPlay from your Mac to Apple TV.

When you launch AirPlay on Apple TV in macOS Sequoia 15.2, you’ll see a pop-up menu with three different options to choose from:

  • Entire Screen
  • Window or App
  • Extended Display

This change means you now have much more granular control over what gets streamed from your Mac to Apple TV when using AirPlay. Before macOS 15.2, you only had the options to mirror your Mac’s display or extend your display. Now, you can choose to AirPlay only a specific window or app on Apple TV.

macOS Sequoia 15.2 is currently available to developers and public beta testers. The update, which also includes new Apple Intelligence features like Image Playground, is scheduled to be released to everyone in December.
