MacBook Pro Now Offers Up to 24 Hours of Battery Life — the Longest Ever on a Mac

Apple's new MacBook Pro models feature longer battery life thanks to efficiency improvements in the M4 chip family, with some models and configurations reaching 24 hours — the longest ever offered in a Mac.


The biggest improvements are in models equipped with the M4 or M4 Pro chip, with the M4 Max models delivering the same or slightly worse battery life than their predecessors. Here's how the battery life of the latest MacBook Pro models compares to models from the last three years.
