iPad 11 is now unlikely to be released this year

Given recent events, it now seems unlikely that Apple will refresh its entry-level iPad this year.

First, Apple cut the price of the iPad 10 and stopped including a charger in the box in Europe this week, and it's unlikely that Apple would have continued those changes if the iPad 11 was imminent.

Second, Apple's announcement of a new iPad mini in a separate press release this week further suggests that the iPad 11 isn't coming anytime soon.

In a newsletter last month, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that “new lower-end iPads” would likely be unveiled at Apple's next event “in the coming weeks,” along with the first Macs with M4 chips. It's unclear whether Apple still plans to hold a Mac event later this month, but it doesn't appear the iPad 11 will be announced this month.

Apple released the iPad 10 in October 2022, and it features a 10.9-inch display and an A14 Bionic chip. It's unclear when the iPad 11 will ship given these latest developments, but 2025 seems like the most likely option at this point.
