iOS 26 adds a new Wi-Fi function to your iPhone

From Joe Rossignola

iOS 26 and iPados 26, add a smaller but useful Wi-Fi function to iPhone and iPad. Weinbach, the details of the Wi-Fi captured networks are now synchronized according to the iPhone and iPad, controlled by iOS 26 and iPados 26. They are usually found in hotels, sports halls, cafes, airports and some other public places. With the help of this new function, which probably also applies to MacOS 26, it will be faster and easier to connect several Apple devices to these networks. Macrumors depositor Aaron Perris later found references to him in the code for the first beta -developer iOS 26. It was believed that this function was not yet functional, but, obviously, this is so. According to an earlier post, it seems that Weinbach has installed the second iOS 26 Developer Beta.

iOS 26 will probably be released in September, which will bring this convenient option to the masses. Dir = “LTR”> cool iOS and iPados 26 synchronized WiFi data from my iPad to my iPhone to connect to wifi pic.twitter.com/egxkprltma & mdash; Max Weinbach (@maxwinebach) June 30, 2025
