In a social media post last week, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said iOS 18 would include “updates” to Control Center, and he's now outlined a few specific changes.
In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter on Sunday, Gurman said Control Center would feature an updated music widget and improved controls for HomeKit Smart home accessories. He didn't provide any additional details about those changes, however, so all we know for now is that they're likely to be two of Apple's top priorities.
Apple will unveil iOS 18 during its WWDC keynote on June 10. and the first beta should be available to Apple Developer Program members immediately after the presentation. The update should be released in September.
