iOS 18.3 beta 1 is now available

Less than a week after releasing iOS 18.2 to the general public, Apple has kicked off the beta testing cycle again. iOS 18.3 is now available to developer beta testers. Here's everything you need to know.

iOS 18.3 beta 1 is available to developer beta testers with build number 22D5034e. There is no public beta, and there is no timeline for when that will change.

iOS 18.2 added a number of important new features to the iPhone. The update was marked by new Apple Intelligence updates, including Genmoji, Image Playground, and ChatGPT integration with Siri.

There’s no word yet on what’s new in iOS 18.3. There are even more Apple Intelligence features on Apple’s roadmap, including next-generation Siri with personalized context, in-app actions, and on-screen awareness. We’re also still waiting for Priority Notifications, a feature that will use artificial intelligence to show your most important notifications first.

In addition to the Apple Intelligence features, Apple is also still working on robot vacuum support for HomeKit and is bringing the Apple Mail redesign to iPad and Mac.

iOS 18.3 will likely be released to the public sometime in late January. After that, iOS 18.4 will begin beta testing before its expected release in March or April.

Whether these new features will be included in iOS 18.3 remains to be seen. If you spot anything new in iOS 18.3 beta 1, let us know in the comments below, on Twitter @9to5Mac, and on Threads @9to5Mac. Stay tuned for more news on new releases right here on 9to5Mac today and throughout the week.
