iOS 18.2 beta 3 is now available. The update is now rolling out to developer beta testers, following the release of the second beta last week. iOS 18.2 will be released to everyone in December and includes new Apple Intelligence features, Find My updates, and more.
iOS 18.2 beta 3 is available to developer beta testers with build number 22C5131e. A new version of the public beta will likely be released later this week. iOS 18.2 is available for all iPhones that support iOS 18. Meanwhile, Apple Intelligence features are limited to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models.
Apple also released new betas of watchOS 11.2 and tvOS 18.2.
iOS 18.2 includes the second round of Apple Intelligence features:
- Image Playground lets you create “fun images in seconds” using text input, offering two styles: animation and illustration.
- Genmoji lets you create custom emoji based on text descriptions.
- When interacting with Siri in iOS 18.2, you now have the option to access ChatGPT.
- Writing Tools now offers a Write button to create text related to topics of your choice. There is also a new “describe your change” option for the writing tools.
- Visual Intelligenceuses iPhone 16 camera controls to help you learn more about the things around you.
- Image Wandin the Notes app lets you turn rough sketches “into beautiful images” and create images using context from the rest of your note.
In addition to Apple Intelligence features, iOS 18.2 also includes a new Mail app that sorts your email into four different categories: Essentials, Transactions, Updates, and Stocks.
iOS 18.2 also brings an update to the Find My app with support for sharing the location of a lost AirTag with someone else.
