If you're having trouble accessing Instagram, Threads, Facebook, or other meta services, you& #8217; you are not alone. Some users complained that these services were slow or went down completely on Tuesday evening.
Instagram and other meta services are facing slowdowns and outages
There have been many reports about Instagram, according to DownDetector and other meta services services have not been working properly for the last hour. Some users also complained about potential glitches with X. 9to5Mac staff were unable to access Threads because the website said “something went wrong.” However, at least here, Instagram is still working fine.
Earlier this year, Meta services (including Instagram and Threads) experienced a massive outage for several hours. A few weeks later, both platforms experienced a bug that caused users to log out of their apps.
It's unclear how many users were affected today. However, the error message displayed in Threads states that Meta is already working on resolving these issues – so hopefully everything will be fixed very soon.
