Apple HomePod mini available for $80 in all five styles

Late weekend, Best Buy is offering a rare model chance to save on an Apple HomePod mini for$79.99This is only the second price cut of the year, and it applies to all five colors of Apple's newest smart speaker. That's $19 off the regular going rate of $99 and matches ours. previous mention, as well as the only other price drop in 2024. Today's offer is also just $1 away from last fall's Black Friday price.

You'll find a familiar fabric design around the compact Siri, Apple Music, and Thread-enabled mini speaker. The backlit touchpad on top provides some manual control as well as visual feedback from Siri, while the internal Apple U1 chip allows for quick transfer of music from the iPhone. Second best prices for Apple Watch Series 9 starts at $295.

Amazon is now discounting at least$80a collection of the latest Apple Watch Series 9 wearables. Most of the lineup has the second-best prices today and ships free across the board. 41mm GPS models start at$295. That's down from $399 and the best we've seen outside of the one-day sale earlier this spring. It's within $26 of that all-time low and the lowest we've ever seen at a $104 discount. Savings apply to 45mm GPS models at$350as well as cellular configurations and stainless steel models. Check out our coverage of what's new this time.

Powered by the new S9 chip, the Apple Watch Series 9 has essentially the same design as previous models, with just a few improvements. It will still provide the same fitness tracking capabilities as before, but now features a 3,000 nit brightness screen that can be dimmed all the way down to 1 nit. There's a new pinch detection feature for one-handed interaction with the wearable that was just revealed earlier this week, as well as a build that is Apple's first carbon-neutral release.

Anker's Nano 3 30W USB-C Charger price dropped to $14.

Anker's official Amazon store now offers the Nano 3 USB-C 30W GaN Charger for$14. That's $9 below the regular going rate of $23 and a new all-time low. Earlier in the spring, we saw the price drop to $16—a former Amazon low—and now it's down another $2. Today's offer only applies to the Aurora White style, as other styles cost around $16. Anker's new GaN charger is called the Nano 3 and is available in one of five color options. Launched alongside the iPhone 14 series, the power adapter has several matching designs that can deliver 30W of power to the latest Apple devices and a host of other gadgets through a single USB-C port. We still like this feature on the iPhone 15, as well as any of the more recent Android smartphones, all of which no longer come with an AC adapter in the box.
