Air purifiers are fantastic products to have in your home to keep the air clean, and having them in HomeKit makes them ideal . even better. Unboxing and setting up the P200 Pro
Before to get started, you need to do one thing that I encountered during installation and setup. By default, Wi-Fi is disabled. Hold the power button for three seconds to turn it on until the Wi-Fi icon starts flashing on the display. I didn't take the time to read the instructions, which cost me 15 minutes of troubleshooting. First, I used the AiDot iPhone app to connect to the device and check for firmware updates. The AiDot app has some great features and is worth purchasing if you have this product.
Before you configure everything in the application, you need to unpack it. It comes pre-assembled and the only thing you need to do is remove the plastic cover from the filter. You can unscrew the cap on the bottom of the device. Otherwise you'll have to (pun intended) take it out of the box and plug it in.
One thing to note now is that I had a pre-release version of this product; therefore, it was not fully HomeKit/Matter compatible at the time. I was able to add it to HomeKit, but I received a message saying it was incompatible. However, I was told that this is fixed in the release version
