The new Apple Watch is the thinnest and lightest wearable ever. But how much thinner is Series 10 compared to Series 9 and earlier? And will you notice the difference? Read on to learn all the details.

Apple Watch Series 10 features new dimensions with the largest displays yet, paired with the thinnest design yet.
Interestingly, Apple has slightly increased the display bezels on Series 10. But you get more rounded corners, which give it a softer, more elegant feel.
Here's how much thinner the Apple Watch Series 10 is compared to Series 9 and earlier
- Series 10 is almost 10% thinner than Series 7-9.
- Series 10 is an impressive ~50% thinner than the Apple Watch Ultra/2
Will you notice the difference? You'll probably notice the difference between the thinness, the larger screen, and the lighter weight. But the best way to find out is to try it on at an Apple Store or other retailer.

The Apple Watch Series 10 models are also lighter thanks to a thinner design and titanium for the high-end versions instead of steel. However, even the aluminum Series 10 models are lighter than the Series 9 and earlier.
Apple Studio Display
As for the displays, the 46mm and 42mm cases offer what Apple claims is up to 30 percent more screen real estate than the Series 6. That means you get an extra line of text on the display, and for the 46mm Series 10, the display is even slightly larger than the 49mm Apple Watch Ultra/2.
Another new feature is the Wide-Angle OLED display, which delivers up to 40 percent more brightness when viewed at an angle.
