Forgot your Apple Vision Pro password? Apparently there is no easy way to restore it [U]

Apple Vision Pro is now available in the US, and we've already learned a lot about the capabilities of this device and can't help it. And one of the things that some users have now discovered is that there is no easy way to reset or remove your Vision Pro password if you forget it.

You won't be able to reset Vision Pro if you forget your password

Users who for some reason have forgotten their Vision Apple reports Pro, Bloomberg reports -password that they cannot simply restore the device settings to remove the password. Instead, the customer must send the Vision Pro back to Apple so the company can erase the password and data.

It's worth noting that this is not the Apple ID password, but the password used to unlock the device and open apps. Typically, Vision Pro uses Optic ID for authentication based on the user's eyes. However, in some situations, users are required to enter their password, such as after a reboot.

If you forgot your device passcode on iPhone and iPad, all you have to do is connect your device to your computer, and then restore your settings and data. Although you will lose all your data, the device can be set up as new. For Vision Pro users, this is not an option.

One reason for this could be the fact that Vision Pro does not have a data port, so users cannot easily connect it to a computer. . Apple sells a USB-C adapter for the Vision Pro, but it's for development purposes only. However, the Apple Watch allows users to easily reset all data if the user forgets their password.

Another strange limitation: While the Vision Pro has Activation Lock, it doesn't have a Find My feature. possibilities. It's likely that Apple will address these limitations in future software updates.
