Foodnoms Nutrition Tracking App Updated: Now Easier to Import Recipes, Analyze Photos, and More

One of the headline features of the new version of Foodnoms is smarter recipe importing from websites. You can now easily import a recipe into Foodnoms by pasting the recipe URL or using the new smart Safari extension:

Unlike other apps, Foodnoms AI intelligently chooses the most accurate result from the food database, ensuring that what you log reflects what you actually cook. It can also use nutrition information provided directly from the website, if available.

The update also makes several changes to Foodnoms AI, which combines “real nutrition data from the Foodnoms database” and generative intelligence powered by ChatGPT to eliminate “the hassle of manual entry, saving you time and ensuring accuracy.

  • Take photos for automatic analysis: On the scanner's main screen, take photos of your food for Foodnoms AI to analyze. This powerful feature makes food tracking even more seamless by instantly recognizing what you’re eating.
  • Foodnoms AI – Redesigned for Clarity: Formerly known as Ask AI, Foodnoms AI now has a completely redesigned interface that walks you through the process step-by-step, showing you what it’s doing while working to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Other enhancements in the latest version of Foodnoms include Control Center widgets and new app icons for iOS 18, updates to recipe creation, and more:
