ChatGPT receives new functions of shopping with visual search and much more

Tim Hardvik

Openai announced several updates to ChatGPT, including a set of tools focused on purchases, which turn a chatbot into a full-functional mechanism for detecting a product and comparison.

The update brings visual search results, personalized recommendations and improved the filtration of the product into the existing interface ChatGPT. Users can view and compare products from all over the Internet, simply describing what they are looking for.

Requests, such as “Best Monitor 4K to 500 dollars”, now return cleaner, scroll through products in a kit with images, star ratings, prices and resumes obtained from user reviews. Pressing on the product raises more detailed information, along with a direct reference to the retail website for the purchase.

Openai says the results are organic and free from advertising or affiliated influence, while traditional search engines and purchases for purchases are usually priority sponsored lists. Product proposals are adapted on the basis of user preferences, such as budget, style and interests of categories, although Openai notes that certain personalization functions can be limited in countries with more stringent confidentiality rules, such as the UK and the EU. It is required to try them. Openai says that deployment is global and should be seen on different platforms, including web applications and mobile applications. ✅ Improved results of the product

In addition to the functions of searching for ChatGPT purchases, can now include several links for a given answer, allowing users to study more or check information for the most sources. Openai says that users can also now look faster using trend searches and auto -filling offers.
