Carrot Weather is getting a major update with a new look, line charts, new layouts, and more.

Carrot Weather 6.0 has been released with a number of new features and improvements. The new design defaults to a “garden that grows over time.” there are line graphs for hourly and daily forecasts, weather news is integrated from around the world and much more.

The new Carrot Weather service is available now for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. Here are the main new changes:

  • Garden layout. CARROT's fresh new design is a garden that grows and changes over time. You'll see cute little robots named Droony, Rover, and Stretch prune trees, water plants, and deliver supplies throughout the day. At the beginning of each month, the garden's growth is reset, so you'll never get bored looking at the same static landscape.
  • Data point selection and line charts. New Layout& Hourly Forecast #8217 features a data point picker that lets you quickly access all your important weather data without leaving the home screen. As you select different data points, such as precipitation probability and wind speed, the hourly line chart smoothly animates and changes color – and it even updates the data shown in the daily forecast under the Hourly section so you can see how things will change in the coming week.
  • New layout options. There are more than a dozen new ones options available in Settings >Layout, including completely new styles for many sections. The highlight is the long-requested line chart for the Hourly/Daily Forecast sections and a toggle in the Minute Forecast section that allows you to quickly switch between a precipitation chart and a mini-map showing the radar for your area.
  • Weather news. Gain insight into major weather events around the world with articles sourced from AccuWeather. Stories related to your specific geographic region will appear higher in the layout, and stories related to active weather alerts will appear on the Weather Alerts screen.
