Update : according to Apple, the user opening screens have been on the air of the EU application since the beginning of the Apple requirements in March 2024. The screen is not new. The original story follows. The warning symbols appear as a red exclamation mark in a triangle, accompanied by a text, which states that the application “does not support the private and safe payment system for the App Store” and “uses external purchases”. />
As Michael Tsai noted, Apple uses his critical “critical” iconography at the highest level of the same symbol of the triangle, which MacOS leaves behind situations that can lead to “unexpected data loss”. After the European commission fined 500 million euros for violation of the law on digital markets, limiting the developers to inform users about alternative payment options. The warning labels also follow the order of the contempt issued by judge Ivonn Gonzalez Rogers on April 30, with the exception of Apple from ensuring compliance with applications that did not allow the developers to direct users to external payment methods.
