Apple Vision Pro's immersive “Adventure” video, filmed in Paris, will premiere this week ahead of its international launch.

When Vision Pro first hit users' hands earlier this year, one of its most lauded features was shooting 180-degree content -degree immersive video. There was a limited collection of this exciting content available on day one, but users generally expected Apple to regularly add to the collection.

These additions have been slower than anyone expected, but the latest video is finally out this Friday, May 24th. “Parkour” will appear for Vision Pro users as the second episode of the “Adventures” series and will take viewers on a wonderful parkour tour of Paris.

The new video gives a unique impression of Paris

The new video “Parkour” will last 12 minutes. Here's Apple's description of the process:

Join the world's leading parkour athletes at Defy gravity as you navigate the streets and rooftops of Paris.

The video sounds like a perfect showcase for the strengths of Immersive Video and Vision Pro. It takes you to something special and provides an experience that most people simply can't get on their own.

As Apple gets closer to launching Vision Pro internationally, I hope they can ensure a more consistent rollout. new immersive video content. During the three months that Vision Pro was available in the US, there was little new content, limited to the Prehistoric Planet series and one MLS highlight reel.

9to5Mac's Opinion

Apple had a big launch for the Vision Pro in the US, but now it's up to them to keep the hype going.

Enlisting partners like Disney to create immersive new experiences like the upcoming What If app is a great start. But the company must be a leader in creating the capabilities that Vision Pro can uniquely offer.

With international rollout expected soon and VisionOS 2 unveiled at WWDC, a steady stream of new immersive video content could finally be a solid third pillar for maintaining interest and growth of the Vision Pro platform.
