Apple TV+'s Next Big Comedy Just Released Its First Trailer

There are some beloved comedies among the best Apple TV+ shows, and a new show coming in early 2025 looks set to join them. It's called The Studio, and Apple just released the first trailer.

The Studio is a Hollywood series with a lot of stars

Set in the wild world of Hollywood filmmaking, The Studio is the brainchild of Seth Rogen. Rogen stars in the series, and also writes, directs, and executive produces. This is Rogen's second comedy with Apple, following 2023's Platonic.

The Studio debuts Wednesday, March 26 with the first two episodes on Apple TV+, then will air weekly through May 21. There will be 10 half-hour episodes in total.

Here's a synopsis of the show:

In The Studio, Rogen plays Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of the embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay afloat and relevant, Matt and his core team of warring executives wrestle with their insecurities, battling narcissistic artists and cowardly corporate overlords in the elusive quest to make great movies. With their power suits masking their endless sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and awards show presents them with the opportunity for either brilliant success or career-ending disaster. As a man who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, Matt has been doing this job his entire life, and it may well be his undoing.

Notably, as you’ll see in the trailer below, The Studio is packed with stars. Rogan is joined by:

and even Martin Scorsese makes an appearance

The studio looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, and it's debuting right at the end of Mythic Quest Season 4, ensuring that Apple TV+ will be delivering great comedy every week for most of the first half of 2025.
