Apple sends congratulatory letters to the winners of the 2024 Swift Student Challenge

Some Swift Student Challenge winners began receiving congratulatory certificates from Apple today, and one honorary winner shared images of the letter he received from Apple.

We are honored to recognize you as the honorary winner of the 2024 Swift Student Challenge. Your app marketplace is among the best of the best in this year's competition, showcasing your creativity, passion for programming, and drive to create great apps.

You've truly inspired us, and we can't wait to see what you come up with do more!

This year, Apple selected a total of 350 winners, including 50 honorary winners. Winners should receive AirPods Max headphones, but Apple appears to be shipping this award as a separate item.

While all 350 Swift Student Challenge winners were eligible to apply for Apple's WWDC special event on June 10 at Apple Park, outstanding winners are invited to Cupertino for a three-day &zwnj ;Apple Park‌ An event that also includes time to network with Apple engineers.

Apple's annual Swift Student Challenge challenges students to create an innovative programming project using the Swift Playgrounds app. Projects are judged based on technical achievement, creativity of ideas, and the content of written responses explaining the project.
