Apple releases macOS Sonoma 14.3 with Apple Music collaboration playlists

Apple today released macOS Sonoma 14.3, the third major update to ‌macOS Sonoma‌ operating system released last September. ‌macOS Sonoma‌ Version 14.3 comes a month after the release of macOS Sonoma 14.2.


The ‌‌‌‌macOS Sonoma Update&zwnj ;‌ 14.3‌ can be downloaded for free on all eligible Mac computers using the Software Update section of System Preferences. There's also macOS 13.6.4 for those still running macOS Ventura, and macOS 12.7.3 for those running macOS Monterey.

‌macOS Sonoma‌ Version 14.3 adds collaborative playlists to Apple Music, so ‌Apple Music‌ subscribers can create playlists with friends and family members. The software also has an updated AppleCare & Warranty section in Settings, which shows coverage for all devices signed in with an Apple ID.

macOS Sonoma 14.3 introduces improvements to Apple Music, as well as other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.

  • Sharing playlists in Apple Music lets you invite friends to join your playlist, and everyone can add, rearrange, and delete songs.
  • Emoji reactions can be added to any track in a shared playlist in Apple Music.
  • AppleCare & Warranty in Settings shows your warranty for all devices signed in with your Apple ID.
