Apple's long-awaited new Beats Pill was released this summer, and today the company has released the first firmware update for the new speaker.
New firmware follows Beats Pill's summer debut
New firmware updates are regularly released for Beats devices, as well as for Apple's AirPods line. Firmware updates vary in their contents, but they typically include feature and sound enhancements, or simply improved compatibility with other devices.
Today marks the first firmware release for Apple's new Beats Pill.
The new firmware has the build number 2C336.
It's currently unknown what's new or different about this firmware, but we'll keep you updated if Apple publishes official release notes.

Apple's newest Beats Pill speaker comes with a variety of updates, including:

Overall, this is a big improvement and a worthy successor to the discontinued Beats Pill+.
