Apple Music Now Lets Artists Create Playlists Based on Concert Setlists

Joe Rossignol

Apple today announced a new feature that lets all artists create Apple Music playlists based on their concert listings. The playlists will appear on the artist’s Apple Music page, the concert page on Shazam, and in Spotlight search on iOS.

The feature is built into Apple Music for Artists.

“Turn your latest show’s setlist into a playlist in Apple Music for Artists on the web,” Apple said in a blog post explaining how artists can use the feature. “Share your Set List with fans on Apple Music and social media to promote upcoming tour dates, let fans relive your concerts, and connect with your listeners.”

Apple Music has already introduced more than 450 Set Lists for popular artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, and Post Malone since last year, and now all artists can create Set Lists to promote their past or upcoming concerts.
