Apple introduces updated Magnifier app for iOS 18 with new reading mode

One of the new accessibility features in iOS 18 that Apple announced today is a reading mode in the Magnifier app that converts words in images into flat lines of text. Apple didn't provide any specific details about the feature, but did share a screenshot showing that users will be able to change the font and read text aloud.

You can already configure the Action button to open the Magnifier app as a whole, so this will be an extension of the app's capabilities. button integration.

iOS 18 is expected to be unveiled at Apple's WWDC developer conference on June 10, with the update expected to roll out widely in September.
