Apple Intelligence Writing Tools Feature Featured in Humorous Ad

Joe Rossignol

Last week, Apple released iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, bringing the first set of Apple Intelligence features to iPhone, iPad, and Mac, including Writing Tools. Writing Tools includes the ability to change the tone of the text you write to friendly, professional, or concise, as well as the ability to summarize the key points of your text. Today, Apple highlighted these features in two humorous Mac ads.

The first ad shows an angry employee typing an angry, unprofessional email to a co-worker who is apparently stealing their pudding. Before sending the email, they use Writing Tools to change the tone of the email to be more friendly.

In the second ad, an employee uses Apple Intelligence to quickly learn key points in documents discussed during a meeting.

Apple Intelligence is available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, any iPhone 16 model, any Mac with an M-series chip, and any iPad with an M-series chip or A17 Pro.
