In a post on social media platform X, which is limited to paid subscribers, Young said he expects the device to feature an 18.76-inch display instead of the 20.25-inch one for “cost reasons.” According to Kuo, when folded, the 18.8-inch MacBook will be similar in size to a traditional 13-inch or 14-inch MacBook.
The foldable MacBook is expected to have a versatile design. -screen design with a virtual keyboard, but the exact design details are not yet known.
Kuo said Apple is aiming to make the foldable screen “as wrinkle-free as possible,” and he said this could result in a device that is almost as expensive as Apple's Vision Pro headset, which starts at $3,499. He also said that the foldable MacBook will be powered by Apple's yet-to-be-announced next-generation M5 processor.
It looks like the foldable MacBook is still a few years away, and Apple will clarify its plans for the device as its launch approaches.
