The weekend report that iOS 19 will have a small but useful new function using publicly available hot spots Wi-Fi. According to Bloomberg, if we register on any of our Apple devices, then all our other of them will automatically enter our system next time. This is great, but I like to see how Apple will take a step further -#8230;
In the very first days of public hot spots Wi-Fi, everything was simple. You saw SSID, connected to it, and were immediately online. Then one of the worst inventions in the technology appeared: the Portal “drop”. Usually it requires your email address and tries to make you subscribe to spam by turning on the consent flag above or lower than the mandatory “I agree with the conditions ’ One – and sometimes it requires you to choose a password to register your account.
All this takes time, and the time that it requires is carefully calculated to take the exact period that your passage train or metro is at the station within the coating, so you can do something useful with your short moment of communication.
It is pleasant to see that Apple reduces the number of times when we must go through this nonsense, but I like to see how the company goes further and take the initiative to develop a new standard for the damned things. Let there be one database in which we agree with one standard set of conditions, and where all our Apple devices are registered. Then check the portals in the film that one database and immediately let us in. Is it really possible not to die in captured portals with a slow and painful death?
