Apple completed the engineering test testing (EVT), at least for one iPhone 17 model, according to the paying preliminary viewing of the upcoming figure report. According to rumors, the design of the
stage of the EVT includes the prototypes of the Apple Testing iPhone 17 to ensure the operation of the equipment, as expected. There are still stages of DVT (test testing) and PVT (production check) to follow before the devices enters mass production. For example, an APPLE MING-Chi Kuo supply chain analyst has recently stated that Apple will make a final decision about whether 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM should be included in the base model of the iPhone 17 for May. At least, Kuo expects the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM.
