In February 2022, the hostage situation was unfolded in the APPLE STORE area in Amsterdam, when the shooter required 227 million dollars in Cryptokurne. The hostages and other visitors to the Apple Store safely avoided the situation, while the militant died from injuries received when a police car knocked him down.
Netflix subsequently announced his plans to create a thriller on the basis of a situation called ihostage, which debuted this week.
as part of the production of ihostage, Netflix recreated Amsterdam Apple Store from scratch-and shared a backstage video about what entails this process.
In the video posted on YouTube this week, Ihostage Director Bobby Bermans shared the process of creating the Apple Store for the film. The development was to recreate the Apple Store in front of a large screen, where they digitally recreated the whole world outside the Apple store.
“Shooting in the real Apple store could not be possible, so we reconstructed the Apple's autotic store on a real scale. The floor space of the same size as the retail store. I do not think that this technique was used on such a large scale in the Netherlands, but this is clearly the future. If we did it right, the viewer won.
ihostage is an exciting thriller inspired by the 2022 shocking hostage crisis at the Apple Store Apple Store Ampler. The film follows the Bulgarian person who is caught in a life -threatening test when the armed attacker holds hostages of the residents.
