Today, Instagram launched a new 2024 preview feature that allows Instagram users to create 2024 collages from images they've shared throughout the year.
As The Verge notes, the 2024 collage option is appearing in Instagram's Stories interface. It works after adding an image to a story and resizing it, with users able to select more images and rearrange them on the screen.
Instagram has also added new themed templates for the Add Your Own feature, as well as New Year and countdown text effects, holiday chat themes for direct messages, and secret phrases like “Happy New Year” that trigger special effects.
Collages and other timed features will be available during the first week of January.
