The Ultimate Edition version of the popular console game Control will be released for Mac on February 12 next year, developer Remedy has announced.
We don't know what specs it will need to run yet, but we can be sure it will be limited to M-series Macs …
The original version of the adventure game Control was released back in 2019 for PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows, with the Ultimate Edition coming a year later. Here's how the company describes it:
After a secret agency in New York City is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new director struggling to regain control. This supernatural third-person adventure game challenges you to master a combination of supernatural abilities, customizable gear loadouts, and reactive environments as you fight through a deep and unpredictable world.
The game has won multiple awards.
Remedy made the announcement to investors, and then shared the news on Bluesky (via Engadget).
