As mentioned here on 9to5Mac, Denim is a powerful app that provides tools for creating and customizing playlist artwork. After an update in August that added a ton of new options to the app, Denim is now getting another update — this time with Spotify integration.
Denim App Now Works with Spotify
With the update, Denim users can now create and update their Spotify playlist artwork without leaving the app. All you have to do is connect your Spotify account to Denim. Then, once you create a new piece of art, you no longer have to save it to your photo library before uploading it to Spotify.
The integration is even more seamless than with Apple Music, which still requires you to manually save an image and change your playlist artwork in the Apple Music app.
There are other changes in Denim 3.3, including:
- An all-new Patterns category exclusively for your Spotify playlist, designed by Daniel Baketaric
- New additions to the Colors category: Sky & Vapor
- New additions to the Artists category: Immersive & Framed
- Critical bug fixes and performance improvements across the board
These features complement those added previously in version 3.0, like an all-new editor that suggests illustrations based on the artists users listen to the most.
Try it now
Denim is available for free on the App Store, but unlocking all image styles requires an in-app purchase of $19.99. If you prefer, there's a $4.99/year subscription to unlock Pro features. The app requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
