Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta 2 to developers. The new update includes upcoming Apple Intelligence features, scheduled for public release in December. Also notably, it’s available for all Macs that can run macOS Sequoia — Beta 1 was only for M-series devices.
Apple Intelligence Features in macOS Sequoia 15.2
The first developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2 arrived two weeks ago, just ahead of the public launch of macOS 15.1.
15.2 is a big release with some of the most anticipated Apple Intelligence features to date.
For example:
- ChatGPT is now fully integrated with Siri
- Image Playground lets you create original AI images
- Writing Tools lets you describe the specific edits you want to make
- You can also use ChatGPT to create original text as part of the Writing Tools
Notably, Beta 1 did not yet include Genmoji, although the accompanying releases of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 included the feature.
Hopefully, today's beta 2 will fix this and offer Genmoji support. We'll be sure to let you know if Genmoji are included in the new beta.
Apple hasn't released a public beta for macOS Sequoia 15.2 yet. But with the expected broad public launch just a month away, we should see public beta users jumping on the new update soon.
