M4 Mac Studio and Mac Pro Coming in Mid-Late 2025

The Mac Studio and Mac Pro, powered by Apple's next-generation M4 chips, will be among the last Macs to be updated with the new chip technology, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said in this week's Power On newsletter.

The Mac Studio is scheduled for release in mid-2025, which could mean its debut in June at WWDC, while the Mac Pro will launch sometime in the second half of 2025. The gap between mid-year and the second half of 2025 suggests that the Mac Pro will likely launch in fall 2025.

Both the Mac Pro and Mac Studio will use Apple's yet-to-be-announced M4 Ultra chips. So far, we've only seen the standard M4 chip, which appears in the iPad Pro.

Apple is set to launch new MacBook Pros, Mac minis, and iMacs with M4 chips in October, with the MacBook Air coming in early 2025.
