CARROT Weather gets a new design with garden layout and more

Popular weather forecasting app CARROT Weather was updated today to version 6.0, which features an updated design with changes to the user interface and feature set. The app now has a garden, which is the new default app look.


Garden designed in a way that grows and changes over time: small robots prune trees, water plants, and deliver supplies throughout the day. The garden is renewed at the beginning of each month so that it can be used throughout the year. Although Garden is the default design, premium users can keep their current layouts.

CARROT Weather includes a new hourly forecast with a data point option to select the weather data that will be displayed on the home screen. plus there are more than a dozen layout options available in the Settings section of the app. Premium users can choose new styles for weather alerts, minute forecast, hourly forecast and daily forecast.

The app includes weather news that provides insight into major weather events occurring around the world. Articles are sourced from Accuweather and local news will appear higher in the layout. CARROT Weather also receives information about yesterday's temperature. This new pop-up compares the current day's temperature to yesterday's weather when you first open the app in the morning.
