After teasing us last week from Comcast's CEO, the StreamSaver package is now official. The package can be purchased by Xfinity Internet and TV customers for $15 per month.
For this price, you get access to Netflix Basic with ads, Peacock Premium (with ads), and Apple TV+ (without ads). as Apple does not currently offer an ad-supported tier). When purchased individually, these services will cost about $23 per month.
Comcast says the StreamSaver offering will save customers about $100 per year if they they want. buy the package as an add-on to Xfinity rather than subscribing to three streaming services separately.
The StreamSaver package can be added to your Xfinity Internet or TV plan for $15 per month with no obligation. You can subscribe and unsubscribe monthly.
Streamers are also available through Comcast NOW TV, which also includes 40 live TV channels, for a total price of $30 per month.
StreamSaver package will be available for subscription starting next week. If you're already an Xfinity customer, this seems like a pretty attractive option. It's also another sign that Apple is willing to make deals with otherwise unlikely partners to expand Apple TV+'s reach.
