ESPN/FOX/TNT Sports Stream Package Led by Former Apple Exec Finally Gets a Title and Release Date

Following news of Netflix, Peacock and Apple TV+ streaming packages, the branding for the upcoming major sports package has changed. was announced. After announcing a partnership earlier this year, ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. announced that their new offering, led by a former Apple executive, will be called “Venu Sports.” plus expected launch date.

Reported by Variety, Disney/ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery's partnership for a new sports streaming service has been officially unveiled.

The service already has a website and a launch date of “fall 2024” pending regulatory approval.

Apple veteran Pete Distad, CEO of Venu Sports, shared a statement regarding the announcement:

“We are excited to officially introduce Venu Sports, a brand that we believe captures the spirit of an all-new streaming home where sports fans outside the traditional pay-TV ecosystem can experience an incredible collection of live sports in one place,” it stated. Pete Distad, CEO of Venu Sports. “As preparations for the platform continue to accelerate, we are laser-focused on delivering a best-in-class product to our target audience, built from the ground up using the latest technology to attract and entertain discerning sports fans who want an all-in-one access to live gaming.”

Prices and full details of the package have not yet been disclosed, but here's what was previously promised as a set-top box on Venu:
