Today, Amazon is offering one of the first discounts since February on Apple's $99 AirPods Max. They are available for$449.99in four colors, down from $549. Most styles can be delivered as early as May 18th with Prime shipping and May 21st with regular shipping.

On Amazon, discounted colors include space gray, sky blue, silver and pink. AirPods Max deals above $50 have been very rare in 2024, and this deal marks only the second time we've tracked the $99 discount this year. That's not the lowest price the headphones have ever had, but it's still a solid discount if you were expecting something more noteworthy for the high-end AirPods.

Apple is rumored to update the AirPods Max sometime in 2024, and the new models should get a USB-C port and new color options. There's only one other AirPods deal running at Amazon right now: You can get AirPods 2 for$79.99 ($49 off).
