Apple today released new software for HomePod and HomePod mini, introducing HomePod Software 17.5. The update comes out two months after the release of 17.4 HomePod release of software that introduces new music preference features.
Apple does not specify that included in HomePod 17.5 software, and the general release notes only say that it improves stability and performance.
HomePod the software automatically installs on HomePod unless the feature is disabled, but HomePod can also be updated manually in the Home app by following the instructions in our HomePod update.
