iOS 18 is Rumored to Add New Features to These 15 Apps on Your iPhone

Apple is expected to announce iOS 18 during its WWDC keynote on June 10, and there are already rumors of new features for many apps, including Apple Music, Apple Maps, Calculator, Messages, Notes, Safari and more.


Below we summarize the iOS 18 rumors on an app-by-app basis based on reports from MacRumors, Mark Gourmet from Bloomberg and others:

  • Apple Maps: iOS 18 is expected to have at least two new Apple Maps features, including custom routes. and topographic maps. Custom routes will allow users to select specific roads to travel while navigating, and topographic maps include details such as trails, contour lines, elevations, and hiking landmarks. Topographic maps were added to the Apple Watch with watchOS 10.
