Apple asks customers to provide feedback on Vision Pro

By Julie Clover

Apple has been collecting feedback on the Vision Pro since the device launched, but the company started sending out surveys this week. We have received several reports from Vision Pro customers who have been asked to share their thoughts on the device.

Apple asks about satisfaction with Vision Pro, use of the environment, favorite features, what it's used for, how often it's used, and how long usage sessions last. Apple also asks about Guest Mode and who else is using Vision Pro, which is an interesting question since it's not intended to be used by multiple people at all. Some questions:

The survey is long and detailed, and also covers other devices each respondent owns.

The surge in adoption of Vision Pro surveys occurred after , as reports appeared about a decrease in interest in the headset. Over the weekend, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said customers aren't as interested in Vision Pro because demand for demo versions at retail stores has “declined significantly.” In some places, demos and sales dropped from “a couple of units a day to several units in a whole week.”

Vision Pro headset owners also reported decreased usage, increasing only once or twice a week rather than daily.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said Tuesday that Apple is reducing the number of Apple Vision Pro devices it plans to ship and said it's a sign that U.S. demand has “fallen sharply, exceeding expectations.”

Kuo believes Apple needs to address the lack of key apps, price and convenience without impacting the user experience so that Vision Pro can ultimately see success in the future.
