App Store is currently unavailable for many users around the world [U: Resolved]

If you're having trouble accessing the App Store, it's not just you. The App Store is currently unavailable to users worldwide. While Apple has yet to acknowledge the problem, many people are complaining about ongoing App Store outages.

Update: Apple has updated its system status to confirm that the App Store is down. Apple Arcade, Apple Books, Apple Fitness+, Apple Music, Apple Sports, Apple TV+ and Apple Podcasts are also experiencing outages.

Update #2: Apple says the outages the incident has been resolved and its services are back online.

It's not just you: the App Store is currently down

When users tried to open the App Store on Wednesday evening, they received error messages like &#8220 ;Unable to connect&#8221 ; and “Something went wrong.” “Users are experiencing an issue with this service. “We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available.” Apple reported this on its System Status web page.

There are many posts on social media from people complaining that the App Store is not working for them. 9to5Mac can confirm that the outage affected users on multiple platforms, including iOS, macOS and tvOS.

Earlier this year, Apple's online services experienced an outage for several hours. At that time, the outage also affected App Store Connect and Apple Music.
